Everton 0-3 Bournemouth. Sat July 26th. 9 Pm.

Alcaraz should have been hooked at 60+, completely spent and disinterested. Heath/Clarke instead of Chermiti, he's not a winger. 3 at the back never ends well for us but shocking from Patterson and O'Brien.

Some nice tackles from Iroegbunam, keeping it simple now.

    Transfer Rumour Adam Aznou

Aznou obviously ain't him but "Barca youth" is forever sullied in my mind after Sandro

    Transfer Rumour Adam Aznou

He used to balance that out by regularly beating his man for the cutback or shot. Great dribbler but his legs are long gone.

Match Thread Blackburn 1-0 Everton. Sat July 19th 3pm.

McNeil on the right too static and predictable. Cuts in and passes to Gueye or swings a tame cross in. Patterson only one providing any width. Can see why they're looking for a CM and RW who can drive forward with the ball.

Favourite 3 and worst 3 transfers you can remember.

Best Lukaku: The best young striker coming to us on loan, then permanently a year later. Really felt like things were changing for the better. Gueye: We had to sign him as his own replacement after trying with Gbamin/Allan. 'nuff said. Branthwaite: Bought after his senior breakthrough, given...

    2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

Why not give him a testimonial while we're at it ffs. 4th choice isn't far off once Tarkowski/Branthwaite pick up injuries, which based on last season is pretty likely.

    2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

Same song and dance for EIGHT years now. He will play, he will cost us points and he will make the players around him worse. Can't believe the "don't mind him as 4th choice" crowd on here. We'd be spending money just to weaken the squad.

    2024/25 Idrissa Gueye

https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/37521568/romelu-lukaku-named-everton-player-season-teammates-fans Lukaku in his highest scoring season for us wondering why he'd been voted player's player of the season over Gueye. High praise. Don't see either Garner or Iroegbunam becoming DMs so we need...

Match Thread Newcastle 0-1 Everton, Sun, 25 May, 16.00

Bonus was seeing Trippier's face at the end while Howe consoled him. They knew they bottled it and had to rely on villa imploding. Won't be as lucky next season.

    Player of the Season

Gueye for sheer consistency. Apart from one mistake early this season he's been excellent throughout. Best game was Brighton away where he looked completely spent but somehow summoned enough energy to run the show when we were a man down. Pickford second, he's had shakey games but we'd be in...

    2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

Glides past opponents without needing much pace. Feel like he could do this into his 30s

    2024/25 Idrissa Gueye

His passing's improved with age, great ball to Mykolenko for the Beto header.

    2024/25 James Garner

    Fantastic today with Gueye.

    2024/25 Beto

Weird decision to cut in, with his pace you'd think he be running down the space on the right.
