Who are all probably on gardening leave or holiday until July 1st leaving just dithering Dave at the helm. And, surely, even he will expect a couple of weeks break getting bitten by the black flies up in the Highlands. Can't really visualise him...
That's exactly the impression I got. And I read that the original Danish film made in 2013 - Keeper of Lost Causes - was the basis of the current series although involved a missing politician with the same name as the 'victim' in Department Q.
From what I`ve read about it, it`s reception has taken Netflix by surprise, as they never expected it to be such a massive hit, which could explain why they didn`t have a second one lined up and ready to go ?
Seems Netflix are keen to do another one although no formal decision yet made but they've apparently put it up against some other big hitters for the Emmy Awards so they must have some faith as to it's longevity and attraction to viewers.
I`ve just realised that I`ve read first book that this is based on by the same name - The Dept Q Series, they`re by a Danish author called Jussi Adler Olson, set in Denmark.
It`s a pretty faithful remake, just moved to Edinburgh.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner plane, impeccable safety record. Going on one of those myself on Sunday.
Fingers...
That we can actually field a team...and one capable of competing against not only the 'rest' but also the so called top six. No more 'plucky little Everton' we have been tagged way too long with that label. Now is the time to start kicking some...
