I think Sunderland are much more sensible than the Geordie fans, definitely more discerning they know when their team are poor just as we do— Newcastle fans would support eleven monkeys as long as they wore the black and white shirts!! -

I’ve been going to GP for over 60 years and for me it’s not the ground that makes it special it’s the people, supporters, players, the employees etc. Fortunately the vast majority will be going to BMD and the spirit of our club will continue……

Take in and enjoy every single minute of today everyone. I regret never making it to Goodison (my best chance was foiled by the pandemic). May this move be the catalyst for the return of success, impact, and excitement to this beautiful club.
