Cenk is not a bad player by any means but claiming his skills are no less than Lacazette is a bit exaggeration in my opinion. I wouldn't compare the two.

Fair point, also considering the fact that he curses in Turkish during the games :D
They became the players they are today in Germany via German way of training/youth development. If they were schooled in Turkey they would be lucky to be 10% of what they are today seriously. Nationality tells very little part of the story.
Tugay Kerimoglu was rated pretty highly by Blackburn Rovers fans if I'm not mistaken. That being said, Turkish players generally find it hard to adjust the pace and intensity of the PL.
