Yes that's how it usually is unless it's not blatantly obvious? It was a delayed flag on DH goal too!

It has always been the case if it is a close decision that DH was close particularly when Barry was pushed offside...

More of this kind of thing would inhibit bad decisions being made, I'm sure.

Evidently the linesman flag was used today incorrectly on the DH goal - VAR will not go against the onfield officials it's very rare they do ! Usually the assistant referees leave it to VAR - not today ! Barry was pushed into an offside position...

A more physical presence in midfield- he at times held the centre of our midfield more solid ...

His holding up linking play up was much improved today - that header needed to guide it tried to head the ball to hard - cleared the bar by too much - trying to hard - looks like he is getting a bit more confidence but needs a goal ....

Offsides needs to be clear and obvious. If you need reviews with laser lines, then play on. And if it’s obvious a player is too far forward but has absolutely no involvement in the goal, then that should be given consideration as well.

He got subbed after that ridiculous booking he had a very good game made room for DH to create in midfield who was our MOTM !
