    From a while back but the peas in the garden did well this year, probably because I had her plant them earlier in the season...this zone 9/10 thing wreaks havok if you miss the window.

    Nature & a lot of Cankerous growth- fascination of the plant cells w7hen the trees were young - I have come across even a bedding geranium with square stems when taking cuttings - you discard them it's a form of can er in plants the cells go haywire!

    Tree should have been staked & rubber banded on planting ..... a spruce hard as nails any rate will grow on that angle now - NVQ - = Not Very Qualified :lol:
