Looks a great defender with really good pace from what I saw that game. Really needs to work on seeing the game better offensively. He gave the ball away a lot today trying to play it into the middle (could also be debut nerves though).

All around terrible and embarrassing display. Although Barkley is a ball hog and gives it away a lot, he is the only player on the team who provides any sort of spontaneity in attack and we look like we have no idea how to break down a defence without him on the pitch. Barry was utterly awful...
