Chelsea’s defense was a mess when Lampard was fired. Glad to see he understood the need to get Everton’s defense (and midfield) straightened out immediately after surviving relegation. Credit to the players and the staff for improving that aspect.

I was very skeptical of Patterson based on what we saw last year pre-injury and in preseason this year, but the last couple games have shown something. Hope he can string some more good performances together.

Another young talented player, and he wants to play for Everton. Hope we can acquire him in January.
