Yeah but the recruitment has been so banal for so long (barring the odd gem) that I feel the club had to take a punt on him rather than a ‘safer bet’ who won’t make the side demonstrably better.

An amazingly moving movie and the performances were excellent given it was part comedy / part serious. I assume it would have been one of Candy’s and Martin’s first semi serious movie performances.

I liked him my Daughter loved him in films. Planes, Trains and Automobiles was an absolute comedy classic, with a heart of gold.
