I think what was said was that they would be putting on 8 car trains earlier. During the test event, 4 car trains were packed early on as people made their way to pubs before kick off, and the 8 car trains came online too late.

If the club sell it on through their seat reselling platform, you get the value of the game refunded back to your account. You only get teh pro-rata rate though. ST price/19 x 1, whereas they may be able to sell it as a tier 1 game depending on...

As devils advocate, if you were to recieve any money or recompense from the individual who fills your seat, is that not sub-letting? Which would require their approval, which they aren't giving.... just to carry on with the lease theme.

Why would the cards not scan at the turnstiles? They'll just put a passive NFC chip in the card, same as they have for the last however many years.

The information they can gather on you through digital ticketing is absolutely insane. They'll aggregate that data up, then sell it on to data broker. It will be another income. They cant do that with plastic cards.
