Dan's a proper designer - invested himself completely in this, almost to a fault. He has emotionally invested in this and it's basically taken 10 years of his career and life. I'm glad a man of his conviction was behind this. -

I only found this out yesterday but a friend of my brother in laws dad was at the Brighton game and had a massive stroke. They didn’t know what it was at the time and thought it might be a heart attack but they didn’t have a chair to remove him...

We totally controlled that match today. Should never have made it so difficult for ourselves at the end. But so many positives. We look so good going forward. If only we could have recruited the striker we crave this window but it isn't happening...
