Agree with this 100% - hopefully with Moyes back in charge we’re again looking at potential Championship players or those from relegated clubs (having said that I’m not sure there’s anyone from Ipswich/Leicester/Soton I’d want) People seem to have turned their nose up at this in recent times...

How so? We signed Pickford and Tarkowski from relegated teams, McNeil is also starting to look like a good buy too. If I remember correctly we also signed Jagielka after he was relegated Don't think it should be a major deterrent - as long as the player is quality and a good fit I'm all for it...

I think Townsend walks into the starting 11 when back fit. It's a farce that we'll be heavily relying on him given his age and that he'll be coming back from a year off after a serious knee injury
