It’s mad that those normally so pro free speech , to the extent of repeatedly misrepresenting an imprisoned woman’s message and demanding her freedom are outraged by this . Mad yet predictable. in 2025 this is somehow a controversial opinion .

I think you’d have to see the evidence really , if you’re building the case on their failure to remove letby then I’d assume her ‘guilt ‘ would be a major plank of the prosecution case . That isn’t to say that stuff that comes wouldn’t assist her...

Imo it also muddies the waters around the strength of her convictions, essentially the management team may well have been negligent in this, so what else were they capable (or incapable) of…..

Yeah that was my initial thought and then confirmed from reading the press release . Safe to say it’s all a bit of a mess from the hospitals point of view . If we take the initial reports of inaction at face value then this does seem a logical...

So reads like it’s about their inaction in allowing the circumstances around Letby’s convictions to occur or go unchallenged…… no effect on her convictions at present.

Could as easily be for letting Letby continue working on the ward as anything else. Guess we'll find out.
