I asked Merseyrail about this ,they say they only open the Old Hall St. gates for important things like Liverpool parades.

And instead of every bus route utilising Leeds St/Strand onto Great Howard St maybe they could send some along Tithebarn St and Vauxhall Rd? Top end of Dale St very popular on match days.

Wonder if buses may run from either moorefields exits on match days

Best thing for us , when the Anfield derby comes around we will still have boozers on county 😂

Pretty much that area in the city centre is Everton. They'll have to make the journey from the anfield pubs for their away derby. Pretty much like taking two trips especially for the 70% of their away end who have to travel via flights.

Plus the lock up. That part of town is rammed full off Everton boozers. Rigbys as always been an Everton boozer.

A minor positive (if you could even consider it that) is that I'm assuming that the three games in the states will all be live on Sky Sports. Beats messing around with EvertonTV streams either way...

Would imagine we would just keep away fans in if the potential for any bother, why I find it mad where the family section is located. We are going to walk past the south stand and down the west as it just saves any issues as I not putting my 5...

They probably realized that having away fans in the upper tier would deprive some of their lot the chance to lob stuff on top of the travelling fans.
