Doesn't really mean anything. Alcaraz came out of the blue as practically a done deal, Aznou was first reported by Boyland last Tuesday - done a week later.
As a comparison of the 4th/5th choice CB at other mid-table sides (not direct as some play 3 at the back):
Bournemouth = James Hill (never heard of him in my life)
Brighton = Igor (crocked) or Eiran Cashin
Brentford = Ben Mee
Crystal Palace = Chadi Riad or Jefferson Lerma
Fulham = Jorge Cuenca...
Him and Young are seemingly two of the players who have stopped standards around the club truly falling through the floor.
They're clearly not there physically as players but without them I think we'd see a lot more players throwing in the towel whenever there's a bit of adversity.

Taken from a few tweets by x.com/greenallefc/ :
16 games away from home against bottom half sides under Dyche now, still only two defeats. It was 9 defeats in the 13 before Dyche arrived.
Against top half sides: P32 W7 D11 L14. 12 of those 14 defeats have been vs the traditional top 6 or Villa.

Or maybe, and much more realistically, he's just got a knock.
Suppose it's much more fun to mentally cosplay as some blert off Toffee TV and just make stuff up to get mad at though.
I'd gouge my eyes out if he wasn't playing for us this season. A truly quality player and the only one who understands even the basics of attacking.
The amount of times a forward wasn't ball side or offered a pass to feet or going behind is mind bending. Just a bunch of statues other than him...
Omobamidele is in the squad and played even less games than O'Brien this season. Maybe have a look at the squad first and have a think why he's not getting selected.
Andy Hunter and Paul Joyce have said similiar in their articles that TFG have negotiated a cut-down price on the 777/ACap loan that they'll pay off and that they're paying close to, if not all, of the £225m owed to RMF.
Did the same 'call it off only to return later on' manoeuvre with Roma.
Would much rather Friedkin to Textor or Moshiri as much as I've got reservations on TFG. Not exactly an appealing proposition with our amount of debt I suppose however.
