I had the Neville Southall sondico shin pads as a kid but if I’m choosing an Everton XI JP gets the nod. He’s been remarkable for us under immense pressure in an era where goalkeeping is so much more than shot stopping. Englands number one too...

Still amazes me he is an Everton player with all the crap keepers the rich clubs have had in recent years. Hopefully his loyalty is rewarded with some success in the years to come.
