I think @PeregrineT makes a good point above that in order to get anything from Coleman as a leader he has to be part of the squad not one of the coaching team / management. That rings true to me. And I do think he can get on the bench still...

We dont know what he's been offered in cash terms. Look at it this way: every player we have always says how Coleman is crucial to their well-being at the club and team cohesion. There's coaches employed by Everton who do a less important job...

I cant imagine the offer to be on anything other than massively reduced terms. I can see the sense in keeping him on as a figurehead who can integrate new players into the set up and make the bench as a back up RB.

Via carrier pigeon I've been told mate. It's a new innovative way Everton want to offer contracts, instead of the usual email/telephone call method.

Well, that was basically sure after Moyes' comments a few weeks ago. His impact on the team is still high despite him barely playing or even being available for play. Probably that was also part of the deal. We need to sign a new right back this...

Dom is a bit of a personal hero of mine, so I won't have anyone slagging him off. He's been an inspiration to me and genuinely changed my life. Since watching the master, I often call in sick and do very little at work, a few tasks completed...

Tbh I'd like DCL to stay, think he'll be a good back up striker and he's good at what he does and against certain teams we need what he does. Like gana imo i think gana is amazing when we play top sides and need him to press, tackle and wing...

Is it "binning us off" or is it moving on to another challenge? Granted for a pay bump and to potentially play in Europe. People always make it too personal with DCL, I don't think you can blame him for wanting to leave at the time, the club was...

He's not good enough for this club. Good luck to him at his next, tried hard but he and we need to move on.

Hes nowhere near England level anymore. In addition to Kane, Watkins and Solanke; Delap, Vardy and Welbeck all hit at least triple his goal return this season, and theres countless attackers and wingers who would get the nod ahead of him as a 9...

We've played 5 games in the final of the league cup and only lost two of them, so it's about time we won that one for starters.
