You’re probably right we’ll always be close to the limits as we still have a smallish ground.
So it all comes down to player trading. Made a profit last year and this summer we’ve sold Elanga, Danilo and others for a total of about £110m. Gibbs White and probably one other will likely go at...
We’re not a nothing club, although we’d all agree we’re a smaller club than Everton (who most of us have a lot of respect for btw). Good to be at least competitive again after a hopeless 25 years.
We’d all agree with that FWIW, particularly now you’ve got such a great stage to play on. My guess is he ends up at Everton.
Only way Forest get him is if they pay a lot more. We do seem a bit obsessed with him to be fair, and occasionally Forest go really big on a player to get him...
Fair play to you. Only one team in it, as someone said above. You totally nullified our attack. You look like a very different team to the one we played a few months back. I think we’re a good team, and since Moyes joined so are you.
No we don’t
We’re just enjoying what has been an unexpectedly good season so far, we’re pleased that we’re getting closer to safety and we’ll see how far we can go.
I don’t know one Forest fan who thinks we’ll be top 4. Most of us would be absolutely delighted if we could make top 10, and...
Yes, 2 changes really from last season, which have made a massive difference to the spine of the team: Milenkovic in at CB, Anderson at CM. We’ve made far fewer defensive mistakes this season and aren’t getting bullied as much.
Only 2 changes, but in 2 crucial positions.
NOTTINGHAM Forest
More importantly, you’re a bit of a bogey side for us since we got promoted. 1 of only 4 PL teams we haven’t beaten (along with Man City, Bournemouth and Wolves)
I fancied us v Spurs today. Fancy us less in this. Dyche knows us inside out as he watches us all the time (he...
I think the game v you lot will be particularly tough for us. You can beat anyone on your day. We’ve not beaten you since we got promoted and Sean Dyche knows us inside out - he lives next to our ground and watches us whenever he’s got a free evening.
We shall see.
Our next 3 away games are Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd. Newcastle at home is our next match. It’s always been important we get points on the board up to now as we have a load of nightmare fixtures coming up.
I’ve not been following Ratcliffe closely but I believe his actions so far have been:
- deprioritising the Man Utd women’s team
- telling Forest, Everton and others to realise how important the ‘big 6’ are
- putting non-playing staff at United up for redundancy
- trying to buy Branthwaite for...
