Family thing for me an' all.
My Dad is an Evertonian as are all his brothers as well as their Dad (my Grandad).
Also my Mum and her Mum grew up in Everton and are Blues.
So as far back as I can remember I have ALWAYS been a Blue and it has never been in question.
Thinking back, as a kid...
Right from the off weve been lumping it forward. If we can keep it on the ground we could beat this rabble but not if we carry on playing like this.
Since they scored they have been the much better team.
We have had better results when he's been missing anyway this season.
Sod him, thats what I say.
Hes pretty good but nowhere near as good or as important as some of the reactions to him leaving suggest.
1. Dixie Dean
2. Neville Southall.
3. Bob Latchford.
4. Trevor Steven.
5. Graeme Sharp.
6. Peter Reid.
7. Andy King.
Cahill will possibly make it on the list by the time he finishes his Everton career.
Nice win v Man City and without Pienaar who was also missing for the wins v Birmingham and Liverpool.
And he has played in ALL of our defeats this season.
Is he over-rated????.
He did play in the win v Stoke though, well done Steven. Proving all your worth there.
While Pienaar has been...
Care to re-think?.
How on earth anyone in their right mind could want Yakubu to start over Saha I dont know.
And if Saha is "lazy" then what does that make Yakubu?, dead?.
Having said that though he shouldnt have missed the pen. I dont have any confidence in players that only take a short...
But....I wish he'd stop playing for freekicks and pens though. He's not good at it and it is embarrassing and Pienarr, stop yer whinging when a decision dont go in your favour.
Try and stay on yer feet and play bleedin football. He can play and if he cut out the falling over part of his game...
Took us 3 attempts to get back up in the 50's, so along with the Brief 2nd division vacation in 1920's thats 4 seasons all up. Still an EXCELLENT record. So what you said was not quite acurate but youre Australian so I'll let you off :D
Regarding the stupid stats of most games lost in the...
That performance was as poor as the one v Bolton earlier in the week.
Sure, Jags may have been solid but what does it say about EFC when a defender gets man of the match versus the 'mighty' Fulham?.
We should have them for breakfast. Why were we just lobbimng the ball up front 90% of the time...
Personally I have only slagged jags off when he's played in the midfield role.
He is great in defence and has been our best player this season by far.
But a midfielder he isnt. The few times Moyes has played him there he's looked out of his depth.
Lets hope our midfield stays fit so Moyes...
