Add to this he seems to not understand how the tests work. They can detect the virus in the context of symptoms, there is no reliable test to show previous infection. So he would be advocating tests on the day of games or the day before for all concerned? Every time? What a colossal waste of tests
Same old problem, people publishing garbage just so they can add it to their CV. Really disappointing.

SARS was successfully contained, it's not a seasonal illness, it's gone since 2003. Just for clarity it's not an accepted illness in that sense

I would guess 18 months for a vaccine. It would be good to have a reliable antibody test (which could tell if someone has previously had COVID19 then recovered, or been infected and had no symptoms).

The second paragraph, I'm sceptical about this reinfection idea. Sells papers/gets clicks. 2 case reports of reinfection out of the many thousands who have tested positive. Highly doubt that.
