Because it is a shiny new stadium with no character? That’s surely not up for debate? I know it wasn’t logistically possible to redevelop Goodison, but if it would have been that would have been my preferred choice without a choice.

We only stayed in the Premier League because of Goodison Park.

Yeah, walking distance is the same if you don’t have mobility issues. But taxis, buses etc aren’t getting close to the ground

We have a manager who traditionally made us strong at home. The past 3/4 years we’ve had chancers manage us. Unsurprised the home record has dipped.

That’s just not true. Some are harder than others to get access into but loads are easy. Goodison is sound access wise. Kirkdale a mile away, easy to jump a cab or bus to county road or, you can walk half an hour from town.

Absolutely. It will be interesting to see if our incredible fans have the same enthusiasm in a ground without character, mid December in the howling wind, in sub zero temperatures.
