Not signing him would be a bigger mistake than feeding a Mogwai after midnight.. 12 million pounds is a steal, average championship players go for that and more these days.

Very true. There’s an argument he shouldn’t even be ours and we haven’t got the cash and pull of champions league that some of these others clubs have. Don’t get me wrong I like him and hope we get him but there’s a fair few question marks...

I'm not sold on Delap. Seems to be a 'flavour of the month' after a bit of a purple patch he had during the season. Happy to be proven wrong if he signs.

Makes perfect sense to sell players at the right time to get a decent return and invest that money on young talent. This is the model we should have been doing years ago.

Selling players is just part of the game. I’ve never understood why people have a problem with selling players for the right price. Literally every football club on earth does it.
