Mid week in the summer holidays? Id say yes to sell out but not a quick one in a ballot. Would expect general sale.

This sounds like a brilliant idea. Based on what I saw last season, a lot of people didn't use the options available when they couldn't go, leading to empty seats. Perhaps down to it being a bit complicated or not knowing people who were members. My big thing is that if you're willing to leave...

I agree completely. So my Dad has a season ticket in an area that appeared, from the Roma game, to have some non-season ticket seats near it. And at Goodison, when I was able to buy tickets, I could occasionally buy the tickets right next to/in front of/behind, meaning we could sit together...

Can't even pick a seat either, you just get assigned one.

Thanks, came on here to ask this exact question! Looking to go to a day gig the Saturday of the first home game weekend, and can obviously do it if the game moves to any other day.
