I see where your coming from.. But I think based on the last few games especially today against newcastle, a case could be made for moving Fellaini into the CAM role, and that move could be facilitated by bringing in a player like Diame. Have him or even Rodwell holding the middle with Gibson...

What about Rodallega and Diame from wigan.. contracts both up this summer, martinez says they'll be leaving.. Think they'd be decent additions to the squad especially with each on a free!
