    Ah, ok.

    Congratulations David Moyes

He's a very good manager. I think some people will only appreciate him when he's gone. I'd like to believe that it's Moyes who's holding the club back and if we replace him then everything will be better as that would make our problems simple. Sadly I think replacing Moyes would be harder than...

    Someone... anyone...can you tell me...

442 may look more attacking but I fear it would prove counter-productive. 451 suits us more, although I could understand a desire for the wide players to push up into a 433. With Pienaar and Drenthe in the team this could be effective, particularly at home.

Of course it is. Any day is a good day to talk about Everton. Everyone on here has been respectful and argued their POV very well. I may disagree with some but it doesn't mean I don't have respect for their opinion.

Time for Kenwrong to step up

Hopefully most of them with come through and stay here a while at least. My worry is that the good ones won't want to stay if there's no investment coming in.

Well whether he should have rested players against Spurs and not Liverpool is a different argument to the one I've been making. Same if you think we should have rested for the cup game. Personally, I'd be fine with rotating in either of the league games to protect the cup run.

I don't know who that is. Is he an argumentative poster? I'm guessing it's not a compliment.

I think it was more about resting players than giving others match time. Unless Moyes has said otherwise, in which case I apologise.

Well when we had depth and a little funding he led us to consecutive 5th places (ahead of a massive spending Villa) and a cup final. I think with money he's shown himself capable of being more positive. He is extremely negative these days, that's for sure, but I think there are reasons beyond...

They lost on Saturday. We won. I don't have any doubts that if we'd lost to Spurs you would have seen a stronger team at Anfield. Also, Carragher, Downing, Gerrard and Carroll were on the bench last Saturday. Clearly they rotated the team was rotated.

I think Jelavic would have struggled with 3 high intensity games just back from his injury. Osman & Drenthe is a fair point. Although it's difficult to see Moyes playing them 2 as well as Pienaar away from home.

There isn't a team in the top levels of football that just takes each game as it comes. All squads are rotated these days. I can understand the argument that Moyes picked the wrong game to rotate, but not that rotation isn't necessary. And if we lose on Saturday then yes, our season is stuffed...

I guess it's because I don't see them in training or have their fitness files to look at, so I try to look for explanations as to why these kind of decisions are made. I think there's a lot of smoke and mirrors with what we fans get to see from a football club. A lot happens behind the scenes...

    Moyes In/Out

Agreed. I can't argue with anyone who finds Moyes to be too negative or cautious. It's plain to see. I just wish he'd get a chance to manage us with a nice transfer kitty.
