Lampard looked to have a good support team around him but was still out of his depth.
Great players just often don’t make great managers for whatever reason.
Would benefit from a lot of years as understudy to a few top managers. Granted the game evolves and players earning more than the manager can be difficult to the point of being unmanageable, so treat em like Ferguson did, bin em off. To change...
….was talking to Plymouth fan a few weeks ago, they loved him but he just wasn’t very good. Apparently never took a penny off the club, not even to pay up the remainder of his contract. No idea if that’s true.
I think with the likes of Rooney...
I pointed him out last week as one to watch as has already represented England at 3 age levels. Seems a prospect, but a baby in keeper terms of course.
Same here but this is the same club that gave a new contract to Onyango at some point in the past 3 years and just never bothered to tell us, so it is on brand.
I don't mind them spreading it out too much. At the very least it gives us something positive every day which you can't usually say about Everton.
The thing I don't understand though is why we didn't announce Heath first? We all know he's signed...
Looks like we're getting an announcement per day so each player gets a day in the limelight. We should have all the new scholars announced by Christmas at this rate
