It`s a magnificent film mate, but I felt empty at the end of it. Joana Santos is incredible in the lead and there`s one scene in it, which is one of the most uncomfortable things I`ve watched, which she plays to absolute perfection - she`ll be...

On Falling. Beautifully acted, but beyond bleak and packs a massive punch. A young Portuguese migrant, wonderfully played by Portugals leading lady, Joana Santos, plays an introverted migrant worker in a giant warehouse somewhere in Scotland...

Michael Clayton. Almost 20 years old but still a classic. Denzel Washington turned down the role as he didn't want to work with a first time director, Tony Gilroy, latterly of Andor fame.

Enjoyed that pretty much entirely based on Hugh Grant's obnoxious character. His switch from playing overly polite middle class good guys to overly confident amoral arseholes has been very enjoyable. Could have been a much more satisfying film...

She's never been a true A-Lister but I'd say she's had a very decent career and has done better than 99.9% of people in the acting trade.

Got round to watching Mission Impossible : The Final Reckoning. Apart from the pointless 10 min recap of all the other films at the beginning, I really enjoyed it. Massively over the top lavish stunts, with the pick being the underwater scene...

The last two films an oldie and a newie, both excellent i thought. Key Largo, great atmospheric gangster film, Bogart, Bacall, Edward G Robinson and a gangster called "Tutz" . And Sinners, slow starting but gets better and better, great music to...

M3GAN A bit of a mess, although the last ten minutes almost made up for it. childs play, terminator, robocop, aliens, evil dead ii, silent running, exorcist, hellraiser, matrix, a few more (upgrade). Shame there's 80% of filler. It has a sequel...

This is a great documentary about the genesis of early cartoons. Really fascinating as you think that Disney invented cartoons, and he patently didn't.
