    I’m going to Bilbao for a few days in June. Staying in the old town. Already got San Mames stadium tour and San Juan de Gaztelugatxe trip booked, but if anyone has any bar, restaurant, places of interest to check out that would be great.

    Depends on how you define 'cheap'. Was in Hungary late last year and I found it to be at least 50-60% of the cost of the UK. Same with Prague he previous year. Its not the ludicrously cheap destination it once was, but still better value than...

    One thing I've noticed about travelling these last couple of years is how expensive places are. Budapest was very expensive in March this year, is this how it is across most countries now? I bet places like Krakow and Prague aren't cheap anymore...

    Heading away on Wednesday with 7 of the mates. Doing 1 night in Riga, 1 night in Kaunas, 1 night in Warsaw and 2 nights in Berlin. Need to prepare the Liver for this trip.

    Did Helsinki to Sydney via Munich and Abu Dhabi last year with some sort of flu that I've never experienced before. Was brutal, I usually hate getting home from overseas but couldn't wait to just go to bed for a few days.

    Went to Rome a couple of weeks ago, highlights were the amazing Ostia Antica (which is still ignored by the vast majority of tourists) and the Seven Churches Walk which is worth doing at any time (not just over Easter).
