The decision was made in 2017 to play future AFCON tournaments in the summer so they wouldn't clash with the big European league seasons. The 2019 tournament was played in the summer. The 2021 tournament was originally scheduled to be played in the summer, but was moved.
So saying clubs knew...
From 2019 they moved the Afcon tournaments to June/July, so they wouldn't take place during the European season.
This tournament was supposed to be played last summer, but they moved it due to Covid.
From the Premier League's website:
In the instance where the on-field referee has awarded a penalty but the VAR has determined that it was an act of simulation, the penalty award will be overturned and the offending player will be shown a yellow card.
I would expect any Leicester fans in the away end to be on their best behaviour. No one will want to get kicked out of the ground.
I've been in the 'wrong' end loads of times as a Leicester fan. At Sunderland and Newcastle this season for example. Never had any problems.
I'm another one looking for a ticket for the Leicester match.
I'm the owner of the domain Everton.org.uk and would be willing to swap it for a ticket - and I'll pay the domain transfer fee.
