Didn't one J Lescott have the same sorta whinge about playing LB some time back? I'd love to keep Johnny but is attitude towards the club is questionable and his performances are largely inconsistent. Will be off in the summer in my opinion...I'd take 8 mil for him now worries.

My local team Brisbane Roar (side we played in the pre season) won the A-league Championship tonight.. Great game too...0-0 at full-time and ended up 2-0 down in extra time. Last ten minutes we get one and in final minute we get the 2nd equaliser.. Went on to win 4-2 on pens...exciting...

What a year and it's only Febuary...if it's not under water, it's on fire, if it's hasn't been blown away it's collapsing... Thoughts go out to everyone in NZ or those with family there... Time for that ANZAC spirit to shine...

Agree with most of your points... But wasn't there a offer for Saha at the start of the season from a French club? I can't remeber exact details..but 4 to 8 mil wasn't it? I maybe wrong of course but im also certain of it.
