In the Dauphine you can see what Vingegaar was doing: experimenting. He allowed the gap to appear and then kept Pogacar at that distance and even reeled him in a bit.
This years TdF mountains the attacks from Pogacar have been shut down straight...
The road will ultimately decide. Today should give us an indicator of how things are. I'd imagine Pogacar will want to lay down a marker, both to show that he's not impacted by the crash and to put to bed the nonsense that Visma are crushing him...
