So tomorrow the USA Everton supporters clubs are celebrating a Tim Howard appreciation day. The idea is to kick off the season with a fundraising effort for Everton in the Community (EitC) and to grow the US Supporter's Cub membership and Everton fanbase in the US at the same time.

Great bunch of Blues that recently became an affiliated supporters club. Their facebook page is the main online presence and they organize getting together across two venues it seems (George & Dragon in Fremont and the Beveridge Place Pub in W Seattle).
Lets list a few Facebook groups for Canadian cities and see how many Blues we can find. Might help find some new blue blood for Toronto to give it some life. Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto is what I'm thinking initially. Should we try Edmonton too Sid?

It was actually started that day believe it or not. I met Omar at our Boston Evertonians tailgate and he decided to kick off DC Toffees. They seem to have grown steadily.
Getting them to join and interact in a Toronto Toffees fb group would be a great way to revive it. Think that would help? Someone will step up if there's some kind of momentum going again.
Definitely major progress being made. MLS is still growing and the TV coverage of EPL, champions league Fa cup etc here now is outstanding and the streams mean you can easily watch any game you like as well. It'll be interesting to see what NBC do with their coverage of the EPL. Currently Fox...
Derbies are definitely difficult on the west coast. The soccer bars in Seattle & west coast show the games on delay which makes it easier to pull the groups together sometimes. Early starts on Sundays are difficult even on the East coast though. Sometimes were in the Banshee at 7am on a Sunday...
