Yup and those 22 appearances totalled 922 minutes, so basically two goals and two assists over the equivalent of around ten full games. DCL btw 3 goals 1 assist in 1600 minutes.

He's not though is he, one serious injury when he done his ACL three years back, missed 5 games in the last two and a bit seasons after returning from that.

Guess the caveat is he's only actually played around 900 minutes in the league though. Been lethal in the cups though, 6 across the Italian cup and CL games in less than 500 minutes.

Very obvious solution to us needing two strikers if we assume DCL goes, Broja leaves and we send Chermiti on loan (lad badly needs to play regular first team footy next season). Loan with an option or a permanent deal for a knock down fee would be sound business, still only 27, stylistically...

Take the proper time to make sure he's a hundred percent, even though it's not the type of injury that 'pops again' don't see the point of rushing him back and possibly picking up a compensation injury.

Well he sure as hell isn't worth a permanent move now sadly, out till November minimum, then even if he returns the same as he was you're looking at a season to get back to that level. 27 next month, chances are he'll be closer to 29 than not by the time he fully recovers.

I do think though that like Harrison he was only ever viewed as a one year stopgap loan. Don't believe we negotiated an option in the loan which speaks volumes.
