Apparently. We all know nothing about this situation. DCL has been completely professional throughout this contract dealing.

I would He was in a thankless role under Dyche and we didn't really see how he would fare under Moyes which I reckon would be a lot better But you may be right considering future sale If he accepts a reduced wage I'd keep him though, he...

That dive from Gordon yesterday was embarrassing. He was schooled by Ashley Young and didn't make it beyond half-time. Getting £40M for him and replacing him with N'diaye and still having around £25M excess was proper business from Kopite Kev.

I’m not sure on this. I always got the impression Dyche believed he could beat the big teams & that must transfer to the players whereas you always feel Moyes is trying to avoid a thrashing. Having said that the Newcastle performance was very...

Mobile and moves well with the ball. Like Broja without the crutches and air ambulances. Poor the last few months, but if this was our statement signing, beating other clubs, would rather that than some 32 year-old former superstar that now...

Think the doffer did some terrific business in his final season, I've no doubt other aspects of the organisation have been improved aswell under extremely difficult circumstances. O'brien, Ndiaye and hopefully Alcaraz will be big players for us...

A huge loss. How stupid are these yanks to let him go ahead of a pivotal summer window? I'd be so confident he'd sort our right hand side out with quality at the very least.

It is the one mis-step the owners made, letting him go.

would like to have seen what we could have done with some cash did a very good job by all accounts majority of the players since 22/23 signed have been sound, just the lingering stench from before and having to sell holding us back

I agree! They reckon about 50% of all signings in the prem are a success I would rate Thelwells signings a lot higher than 50% even down to Tim Iroegbunam, we got the best of that deal.

I wasn't a fan, maybe lack of striker/Maupay created a blind spot. It just seems odd to let him go now when this window could define the next few years. With the scale of ins/outs, Moyes is going to need help and the last two windows were...
