    Most don't even have proper sleeves these days. My favourite was Nev's camouflage one from the early '90's. Had that and a pair of Neville Southall Sondico Pro-Lite shinpads. They were hardly 'lite', mind. Could probably get away playing cricket...

    the £30m is because of his ceiling he's got the potential to be a top level player whether it's worth the gamble is another thing but the price is because he's got the scope to be one of the best around for his position

    I cant imagine the offer to be on anything other than massively reduced terms. I can see the sense in keeping him on as a figurehead who can integrate new players into the set up and make the bench as a back up RB.
