    - I'm still none the wiser over Aznou's absence tonight - but if he isn't injured then his first mistake was not including him in the squad. - Garner at LB and Iroegbunam trying to cover his usual role was an automatic non-starter. KDH should've...

I don't fully blame Moyes, but he need to take his fair share of the blame. He absolutely had alternatives to the mish mash of a starting 11 he picked. He could have played 3 centre backs, McNeil left wing back, Garner right wing back...

He doesn’t have a lot to work with. But I felt the inventiveness was sorely lacking. I would’ve set the tone for the season early and have Leeds face Barry, KDH, Ndiaye and Grealish. Not this crap.

Baffling habit our players seem to have, see last season where we'd take forever trying to play through Harrison instead of Ndiaye. Other teams never hesitate to run at us with their best attackers.

That’s the concern. With no Branthwaite for a month, no Mykolenko and no right back, we’ll continue to see players out of position and players who aren’t good enough starting games. Pretty much every other team in the league (including the...

I dont think that starting 11 is good enough to win top flight football matches. Absolutely woeful in defence and midfield. Relegation standard.

it’s hard for Grealish and Ndiaye to get on the ball when the game plan involved Tarkowski and Keane kicking it over their heads for Beto to fall over or control it into row Z.

Start him, at home next week. Sorry Jack, but currently, we need you massively!

I’d love someone to ask him ‘how did you envisage that the starting 11 you picked tonight would score a goal?’ Because I have absolutely no idea what the plan was. It certainly didn’t look like the players knew what they were supposed to be doing.

Since 2022, Sunderland, who have been in the Championship for 8 years, have won more premier league games in August than Everton have. Can’t believe the Friedkin’s will be at all impressed by how this summer has panned out so far.

It’s annoying that the penalty controversy has given him something to deflect from his terrible team selection and tactical set up. We got exactly what we deserved tonight.

Feel like he was at his stubborn best tonight. He’s clearly unhappy (understandably) with the lack of new signings, but the team selection and game plan felt like he was going out of his way to draw attention to it. Everyone who saw that starting...

We’ve not won a game in August since spurs away under Carlo…we throw 12 points away at the start if every season Sick of it

No wonder Evertonians hate the football starting up again. It's a recurring nightmare.

I agree, every time somebody says one thing critical, it's "bed wetter" this and "negative swine" that. The team set out tonight desperately needs balance in the lack of LB/RB/RW and some squad depth in some other positions. I appreciate...
