Caught 45 mins of Ash’s set before hot footing it to see Alanis.
They were great, just stuck to the hits.
Alanis was great, my voice makes that be starting to go now though as this afternoon has been a bit of a 90’s song-a-long
Yeah I haven't watched much of this tournament but from what I've read I'd imagine the Germans to be the favourites. They've been doing well again at youth level recently so I'd expect them to be a force again at senior level soon (unfortunately)
Yup, our old friends the Germans again, we lost too them in the group stages. we haven't been great at the back in some games so it will be interesting to see how the CB get on with Woltemade who has been the standout player of the tournament.
I bet the fence is no harder to get over than it ever was. It's just the kids got weaker and more feeble from their chronic mobile phone usage and over reliance on electrically powered scooters and bikes.
Well I'm here in Glasto awaiting the morning influx of festival revellers.
I wouldn't believe all these stories circulating. Security is always strict. And it's only getting stricter. Stories of Stewards becoming lazy as the festival develops...
How does volunteering work nowadays ?
Back in late 90s and early 00's you could apply to be a volunteer, get accepted, turn up at the festival, get let in for free and then just disappear for the weekend having never done a single bit of work.
Main ones I’ll be checking out are-
Friday.
Shed Seven, English Teacher, Osees & Wunderhorse.
Saturday.
Bob Vylan, Weezer, Amyl, Gary Numan & Deftones.
Sunday.
Gurriers, Sprints, Katy J Pearson, Turnstile, The Prodigy, Goat & Brian Jonestown...
