That looks about a 14 metre gap from the last row of seats to the roof. It's an arched roof isn't it, so that could be at its highest point, so the lowest point we could qbe looking at 10 or 11 metres above the back row. That seems excessive to me.

I'd be interested to know if they had the foresight to design in such a way that it could be removed and replaced with a couple of rows of seats in the future.

The better way for me would have been a larger capacity and for games we don't sell out make the away end bigger so that it appears that they haven't sold out not Everton!

An idea would be for Everton to have an area at the heart of the South Stand where no season tickets are sold. It would then act similar to an away end but for home fans.
