A yes as would improve us but watching the YouTube video anybody else noticed just how one-footed he is. Left is there for standing on and not much else. But that aside still a yes
Not sure if itv or bbc mate but that one on the Guardian article will be the one I remember. I'm from not far out of Manchester and remember there was a trip from school when I was about 11 to it.
We'd have a decent 6a side team with our current squad!
All the top teams (or at least NW teams) in about 1990 playing in a 5 a side competition at - I think - G-Mex in Manchester.
Not like the ones Sky showed a few years ago with the veterans teams but this was actually 5 a side teams from the 1st team squads if I remember it right?
Tend to agree in that I think Klitschko is likely to win but I've a feeling Fury might surprise a few. He isn't going to go there and run like others have and will hopefully be able to get inside of Klitschko and properly rough him up. Should make it interesting at least.
Not seen that latest...
John McDermott, at that time, was far better than a 'fat journeyman' - he was undoubtedly fat but at British title level the fella could box. Fury got lucky that night getting the decision but then rematches him within 12 months and knocked him out. Was only something like 10th or 11th fight the...
Don't agree on Klitschko strangling the division as although he can be dull to watch he has a style that works for him and gets results. Up to somebody to go in there and give him some questions he doesn't so easily answer with his jab/range.
Agree with you 100% on Fury. Plays the daft lad at...
Cheers mate. I'll have a check on sky box sets later.
Slightly different but True Detective is the only thing I've seen recently that's come close to Gomorrah. Though TD would take some beating then a few month later along came Gomorrah
Nice one. Never really watched a full series subtitled before but if anything it added to it with Gomarrah. I'll get Romanzo Crimanele watched first then try and find the French one. Where do you pick that up to watch?
Cheers pal, you know more than me then on the background to it.
Was just a brilliant series - read a second series is going to happen too.
Won't spoil for anyone intending watching but as I was watching didn't have a clue who to root for each week!
Will try that Romanzo Crimanele next - you...
That's the one mate - subtitled but well worth the effort. The fact it's Italian and I had no idea who the actors are having not seen them in stuff before just made it that bit more authentic.
That's Gomorrah - not Brushstrokes. Goes without saying Brushstrokes was authentic.
100% - clearly a Leicester fan and no worries with that but you are right that he barely references Everton as one of his teams. For someone who did so well for us it's odd.
Apologies if there's a thread on this already but just finished watching the series tonight (on catch-up) and is about as good a series of TV I've ever seen. Possibly even better than Brushstrokes.
Anyone else on this / seen it already?
