All the top teams (or at least NW teams) in about 1990 playing in a 5 a side competition at - I think - G-Mex in Manchester. Not like the ones Sky showed a few years ago with the veterans teams but this was actually 5 a side teams from the 1st team squads if I remember it right?

Yes I read that. Think the series was born out of a book and the author hain't exactly enamoured himself with the family it is based on!

That's the one mate - subtitled but well worth the effort. The fact it's Italian and I had no idea who the actors are having not seen them in stuff before just made it that bit more authentic. That's Gomorrah - not Brushstrokes. Goes without saying Brushstrokes was authentic.

100% - clearly a Leicester fan and no worries with that but you are right that he barely references Everton as one of his teams. For someone who did so well for us it's odd.

Apologies if there's a thread on this already but just finished watching the series tonight (on catch-up) and is about as good a series of TV I've ever seen. Possibly even better than Brushstrokes. Anyone else on this / seen it already?
