How the England team could look.....

Now I ain't the biggest fan of the national team by any stretch, I'll watch the games and get smashed in the pub, safely knowing, we'll never perform THAT well.... The major gripe I've had since I got back into being a big footie fan is, it doesn't really matter how well you play as long as you...

    George Green

It's probably Moyes mentality installed in me still. We need him to stand out in the U21's first, if he bosses that league before he's 19, it's a matter of time before he's on the bench. Does anyone know his preferred position?

He'll learn what's more acceptable in time, he'll be a big player for us in 3-4 years if he develops right, by then he'll still only be 22.

    Grade for this transfer window

Going with an A. As much as I love Hibbert for being the local lad doing what most of us dream of doing, I'm not convinced he can play this system... Both our starting 11 fullbacks are sublime. If Baines got injured, I wouldn't be as concerned about the LB position as I would be RB. Best...

    Steven Naismith though.

Going to be a very important player this year. When he first came I wrote him off, didn't give him a chance. Seemed like a very ordinary player who was in the right place at the right time, a bit of Darren Bent about him really... Martinez' management of him has been superb!

    Samuel Eto'o

The only time this club have won a piece of silverware I was far too young to remember... Last time I was this excited for the future was after our champions league qualification, we know how that turned out... Roberto is really messing with my emotions more than Moyes ever did.

    Samuel Eto'o

According to the papers our board were concerned about his wages but he lowered his demands down to 40,000 a week, for a player of his quality, it's a steal. We know the myth of players from abroad taking a season to adapt to the league but he scored 12 goals last season, I didn't really notice...

The summer 14 other clubs transfers thread

i don't get why he was billed as a young player via the england squad... he's decent don't get me wrong but jay rodriguez was my stand out player from the southampton attack last season (it's like when someone gets injured they're completely forgotten)....

    Wouldn't it be hilarious...

He was a good player for us.... Would I want him back? nah...

    Your Perfect Europa League Group?

Hoping we get a really hard group, if we win the group it gives our confidence and our chances of winning it a major boost.

Will Europa hinder top 4 hopes?

When did Martin O'Neill sign up for the forum....?

    Lukaku to Spurs

We need to ease one of our youth strikers in ideally, as much as people think he's gash, we have missed Kone... Gibson will be back, if he can stay fit/steer clear of injuries he'll be adequate option for when Barry or McCarthy need a break/injured... I'd personally hope Martinez would go out...

4th Place - What's it going to take?

1 game at a time.... Ideally win every game from now until the end of the season, no point looking around us or hoping arsenal slip up.

    Aiden McGeady

A good addition to a bit of threadbare squad, Roberto is planning for europa league at the very minimum and wants some good options without having to fully exert our first 11. At the worst he'll be warming the bench and a good option to come off and run at tired opponents, that or he'll become a...
