Glad of this. Keeps Everton in the area and fans can still visit, go to a game etc. much better than a carpark or block of flats ending up over the old Goodison. Least they have come out with the news before Sunday too

Said it for years one thing lpool fear most is a successful and resurgent Everton. We’ve not been a direct rival for trophies for years but we still get under their skin like no one else!

Woodison they called it for years. Now they think it's a national treasure. You can smell the fear that Everton might actually grow for the first time in 40 years by moving to a modern stadium. Far easier to relegate us to the past when we play...
