Honestly, some people would find reason to moan if Guardiola was named next manager.
It is my understanding these people should be identified as tits.
And placed on ignore.
I agree in that people are overlooking some of his decent play and some attempted decent play, but whilst sat as the deepest lying midfielder for 60mins he dictated our pace, which was horribly slow in the main. For whatever reason he’s become scared of taking the ball from the back 4 and...
Ref: “Penalty!”
VAR: “Hey Chris lad, wait a sec... 50 quid says you ain’t got the balls to fire over to the monitor, pretend to take a look, then windmill at Klopp on the way back to the penalty spot”
Ref: “F’kin watch me...“
I do agree with you there! Problem is if we try and go at City then it could have been an embarrassing score line.
That Fulham shambles has so much to answer for, I don’t believe the way we played tonight does.
Some comments here are hilarious. “City weren’t all that”... we actually made it very difficult for them to play. Thought the tactic was spot on. Some people on here will reject that because at times we’ve played the same way at other times but against much worse teams when I’d then agree that...
Totally baffled by so much of that.
Not starting with fresh legs of King?
Hooking Davies when he was the only midfielder looking to take the ball and turn forwards...
Allan on the bench (so presumably fit enough to play) not used.
Gomes, Gilfi and James all playing together...
not playing a...
One of Davies best performances for me. Growing under Carlo. Doucoure top quality again too. Love how Richy goes from sulky face to sheer joy when he scores.
That was exhausting to watch, but fantastic blues! UTFT
You’re right, I know, in that situation he only has a split second to react. Was more trying to make the point that some of his reactions are likely caused by what seems to be an underlying “need” to do something flashy rather than something simple.
Always get the feeling with Pickford he likes to take any opportunity to “dive for the cameras”, i.e. when he tipped it out for the corner, I imagine he thought ”this might go in”, but his overriding thought would still have been “I’ll look incredible diving and saving this”. What a berk.

Absolutely love this lad. He’s a proper unit and I reckon he’s likely the fastest player in the squad. Absolutely monsters up the yards when he steps on it. MOM for me yesterday alongside Keane.
Thought he was allowed some space by the opposition yes, but he was also constantly looking to make himself available to take the ball from the back four. He loses possession here and there (and it’s much easier to forgive when we win) but I’d much rather that than a player that actively hides...
