Well they aren’t doing the same things, so we’re not going to have the same outcomes. I’m not saying they are guaranteed to be successful, but there’s no reason why people shouldn’t be hopeful just because the previous slapstick administration...

If it didn’t work out, then they didn’t take advantage of those things. They just tried to, amateurishly. They tried and failed to get one up on the system. And we were absolutely battered for their failure.

Well, they didn’t exactly exploit those loopholes in an effective way, which rightly calls into question their judgment and capability. Just because the owners tried and failed to be clever doesn’t mean it’s not possible to be clever.

Selling Goodison should give Roma a decent amount of change to spend.
