The top-drawer off-field additions bode very well for the quality of player we'll be looking to bring in post June 30th. The Friedkins mean it.

That's two big hires from two of the biggest clubs in the league. Certainly seems very promising as far as the seriousness of the Friedkin operation goes.

Insane to me that people make fake fixture lists. What's the best-case scenario? You fool five idiots on Facebook that you've never met? Is that worth the effort?

Well, you’re certainly interpreting what paid-for membership offers in the way the club’s commercial team would like - but I’m afraid it’s transparent cynicism from my point of view. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the club’s perspective, and I...

Yes. And you need memberships at the same tier for all family members. I’ve put down £200 on memberships for the four of us. £200 for the chance to buy tickets is mad, but that’s where we are.

Memberships aren't voluntary if you want to occasionally go the game. If you want to go one game a season that first game costs well over £100. The club are doing what other clubs do so you can't blame them but memberships aren't meaningful...

He's right. At least, there's a general perception he's right, which in terms of expenditure amongst fans means the same thing. The chances of games getting down to general sale this season is perceived as being small. Demand to experience the...

I like this project. Bit of renovation, bit of sympathetic new build.

His speed seems to be the primary question… Some good bits on that in this Athletic article from January: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6055421/2025/01/13/the-crisis-of-kyle-walker/ It’s conclusion ends up being that his speed isn’t his...
