Lovely! Well done chaps. A solid defence inherited from Moyes and some brave forward play from the more gifted players makes the Martinez reign look quite rosey. Hopefully Martinez will take the League Cup seriously this week.

Having seen it on MOTD it was a very very poor decision to give a pen and a red card.

Fellaini is a very good player so I have no doubt he will be a big hit at United. We will miss him, but he gave 5 great years service to the Toffees. I can see United getting into their stride now and putting a decent run together.

Moyes took Everton to 17th before he took us to 4th with the same squad. Anything can happen in those early days. I'm not arsed either way if they do well or not but I think there will be some choppy waters ahead.

The only reason we over-paid for mcarthy was because Kenwright held out for 4 extra million for Fellaini. Basically United paid the extra for Mcarthy for us.

Very good window, and to be honest Fellaini has not bossed quite as many games as we would like to believe. Bottom line is that these players suit Martinez style better then Fellaini.

As long as it's not for comparable money.
