Should have known you’d pipe up. What are you expecting, Cafu?
I'm expecting and accepting what we see right now: solid performances.

The talk of 'great' games is for the birds.

I will say this though: he's eclipsing Mykolenko atm.

Are you serious? How many full backs do you see dribbling past defenders and hitting the bye line regularly.
You dont have to dribbl;e past them to get past them. He turns back or sideways as soon as he sees an opposition defender in front of him.

No overlapping and no ambition to carry the ball deep into opposition territory.

If he adds that to a game we have a player with enormous potential.

Was it bollocks. How can that ball out there in that position not be Patterson's?!?!

Gordon was well within his rights.
So Gordon gets there makes the close down and it was somebody else's job absolute ballocks to you Dave your complete and utter ignorance of the positioning of players is breathtaking. Just because the ball goes there doesn't mean it's the right backs ball to cover especially if he's been pulled out of position because of other players failings

The ball is on the edge of our box on the right hand side and Patterson is hugging the near post. WTF is that all about?! Of course Gordon was in the right.

Moments of over confidence which rely on his teammates to bail him out, but not a chance anyone can argue that when he gains some experience, probably in his mid 20’s, he is going to be a really really very good right back. I hope he is still here.

If you actually watch him, he’s very progressive with the ball, sure he will play the ball sideways and backwards at times. But he will most certainly play the ball forward and continue his run also. He’s very good at playing neat 1-2’s at pace to get into space. Dave, you’ve got a real good player with a ton of potential. Just enjoy having him.
