Some people thinking the only people involved in the British empire were English.
I’d guess there may of been a few scottish, Welsh, Irish, American etc involved in that empire too, maybe a few Indian regiments too, Canadian etc etc.
It’s like blaming people from modern day Rome for the issues of the Roman Empire.

Stop trying to defend Scum.

Problem is with these people, few of them actually really know anything about the true history of the British Empire, they just buy into sweeping statements about them, what you say there is spot on. Many of the people involved with what might be considered the crimes of the British Empire were not English, just like how many of these involved in things like WW1 were not English too, many from Ireland, Canada and Australia

You know when England fans boo other countries' national anthems... and you think they are idiots... ?

Frankly, it's easy. You just keep your mouth shut whatever your views. Do nothing. Don't feel the need to express your opinions either way. Don't be a narcissist.
Never express an opinion, never rock the boat, just do as I say.

"Keep your mouth shut", there's a non-authoritarian phrase if I ever did here one.

I'll try and stop being a "narcissist" (it's clear you have no idea what that word means) when you stop being a fascist.

Those people that fought for the British fought under the British flag. It doesn't mean the Irish were involved as a state

And how has your British education informed you sufficiently of the crimes of the British across the world? You have been sheltered with your version of British history.

It's absolutely nothing like that.

The Queen was the figurehead of the British empire while the British were committing atrocities.

The same queen. Not a queen from 100 years ago.

Malayans were being decapitated by the British with Queen Elizabeth's smiling face looking down on them.
