I think we have to reserve judgement overall but he certainly has been given a baptism of fire. We could be operating under these constraints for several windows to come, can understand the approach this summer.

As time unfolds I'd like us to be at the forefront of identifying and signing the best young players, let's get them in here and build a young, dynamic, hungry team. This summer was all about patching up so many holes with largely 2nd hand material, I understand that.

Well, if true we are down to a Chelsea loan at CM, a striker, and a maybe CB loan/cheap option to replace Holgate.

Have I missed something? Where's Holgate gone or rumoured to be going ?
