….not in the least into monsters and zombies but over the last few weeks Ms Eggs and I have worked our way through all 4 seasons of Stranger Things and quite enjoyed it.

Have to say the revelation that Eleven is a Koppite does explain some spooky things that have happened over the years.

Started Gangs of London - seems okay so far.

Finished it already. Belter series. Ultra violent if not wildly unrealistic.

River Cottage is a massive guilty pleasure for me. Yep, Huge Furry-Toadstool is a bit of a tool, but if you can look past that, the whole rural setting, live-off-the-land ethos, the scenery, the foraging, eco stuff, etc, is all very appealing. The current incarnation (River Cottage Reunited) is running on C4 at the moment. It’s not far off Mortimer & Whitehouse for ‘switch off and dream you’re somewhere else’ telly IMO.

Think his TV production firm went bust a couple of years ago, leaving loads of debt. Not read anything else. ? I mean, he eats dubious stuff raw straight out of the sea, and he once cooked and ate placenta, which is pretty mad to most, but then again, he’s posh, so all bets are off. ?
