ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

So now a £50m transfer isn’t a £50m transfer because we add the wages onto the transfer fee for the duration on the contract?

In that case:
‘Virgil’ - 75m + 200k per week for 5 years = £127m

Nunez - 85m + 120k per week for 6 years = £122.5m

They still don’t seem to grasp that their comical mental-gymnastics are shown to be absolute garbage when applied to their own team.

So naïve, you only add them on when you want to have a go at Man City and other clubs, it is not hard to understand. Liverpool are trying to save football from these evil money men, they haven't spent a penny on any transfer and we should be grateful for their sacrifices in the name of all that is righteous.

He has to be on more than that doesn’t he? Isn’t Milner on about £150k?

I've heard some crap in my life but Brian Pead (yes really) has crowned it all now.. in a book about 100 years of RS in the FA Cup he claims Hamilton was "inches offside"
those spotty skidmarks changing history again! ...the telly never showed he was offside, mainly because he wasn`t and Thomas never committed as to why he disallowed Hamiltons goal, at the time he said it was for an `infringement` -

Give those lovable scamps their due though. Having invented the concepts of running around and players getting injuries, they are giving us full credit for inventing spending money on players... Good on them I say, we should certainly be forced to sell all of our best players to make up for our catalogue of hundred-million-pound buys. Serves us right for not having the team follow the lead of Nunez by playing for his bus fare to training and some dubbin for his boots...

So did Mr Pead watch this via the television and saw this "offside" or through a blag ticket?
I just noticed he also managed to insult us nicely with the "Living in our shadow" jibe. Never enough to win also those trophies if you can't twist the knife in just a little bit more.

didnt see where he said that but i`m quite happy with it. from my understanding thats a small-time, agenda driven, not a proper fan mentality type of thing to say. if he was truly bothered with the footy his brain wouldnt go there, he`d only be arsed with his own team winning. just my take on it.
